ISU coursework is taught not only in Pocatello but also at satellite campuses located in Meridian (Boise area), Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls. The Southeast Idaho Rural Vocational Technical Distance Learning Network serves rural Idaho by taking courses to area high schools.

Quality child care is available to ISU students, faculty, staff, and community members at the Early Learning Center (ELC). The ELC offers a child-centered program that provides drop-in care, after-school care, secure playground area, and healthy meals and snacks.
